Manglar by Fueguia is an olfactory tribute to the mangroves of Central America – the beating heart of ocean ecosystems. It's here that complex green notes of olibanum and vetiver evoke the fresh, salty air, the fledgling flora growing by the water's edge, and the sunlight filtering through dense, sea-hardened trees. This woody scent is echoed in the cedarwood that thoughtfully rounds out this one-of-a-kind perfume. 

A self-taught perfumer free from the protocols of the fragrance industry, Julian Bedel is the nose behind Fueguia 1833’s limited series scents. It is a unique concept brand in the universe of niche perfumery, paying tribute to the indeginuous communities of South America. He was recently commissioned by the contemporary art gallery Hauser and Wirth to concoct two sophisticated and intoxicating perfumes called Manuela and Alba, both available in our UAE collection below. They’re created by using the native flora and fauna of Somerset and Balmoral, mesmerizing passerbys with their refreshing aroma.
