Its founder - Simon Porte Jacquemus unveiled his first collection in 2009 at just 21. His collection would gain the attention of Rei Kawakubo, co-founder and designer of French fashion brand Comme des Garçons. Landing Simon a position in one of Comme des Garcons flagship boutiques in Paris. Jacquemus' big break however wouldn’t come till years later when the drop of their La Piscine collection gained notoriety for its depiction of french women loitering in front of a public pool - taking inspiration from Isabelle Adjani’s “Pull Marine” music video. Today Jacquemus range extends beyond accessories to evening dresses and more, that are colorful, innovative and playful in design and unique in storytelling behind the clothes.
