Seeking inspiration in unexpected places, Eichholtz used old industrial bulkhead lights as the basis for this design. The Cabo Lamp features a vintage brass fixture with a globe-shaped glass diffuser shade. The brass is sculpted into an ‘eyelid’ that partly covers the globe to reduce downward glare. This also builds on the design’s unique sculptural feel, turning a functional lighting piece into a work of art.
