Returns and Exchanges


In line with government guidelines, refunds, returns and exchanges are temporarily suspended in store. Please note this does not affect your statutory rights....

During this time items purchased online will be accepted via the online returns process only which also temporarily excludes returns to the At Your Service desk in store. 

Online purchases which are returned will be subject to quarantine and sanitization in line with government health and safety guidelines.

I’ve received wrong or damaged items

If you have received damaged items or the wrong items in your order, please contact us right away and we will resolve the issue within 24 hours.

What is your refund policy?

When you cancel or return items in your order, the refund is generally processed using the method you used to make payment Cash payments for online orders are refunded as online store credit. Please note that we cannot refund items if they are returned after 30 days of purchase.

How do I return an item?

We hope that you'll love everything that you purchase from us, but if not, you can return your items within 30 days of making the purchase. Please note that some items are not refundable; for instance, cosmetics, jewellery, lingerie, swimwear and furniture are non-returnable items. However, you can return non-returnable items if you receive the wrong item, or if the items arrive damaged....

For in-store purchases, you can walk into our store with the purchased item in its original packaging, with tags, and a proof of purchase and our team will complete the return process instantly and process your refund. (Valid for UAE & Kuwait only)

For online purchases, you can request a collection of your items online and our delivery team will collect the items from you. Please ensure that you complete and attach the returns form you receive with your order to avoid delays in processing your return, and for KSA orders you need to attach the Airway Bill with your returned items. Your returns will be processed within 3-5 days and the refund will be issued accordingly. If you do not have a Bloomingdale’s account, you will need to register to be able to request a return online. For an instant refund against your online purchase, you can walk into our store with the item and the returns form and our team will be able to complete your return immediately.

Please note that for credit card refunds, it may take up to 14 days for the refund process to be completed.

How do I exchange an item?

Exchanges are available in-store only for items bought in-store. You can exchange an item that you’ve purchased from Bloomingdale’s within 30 days of purchase. Please note that the item must be in its original packaging with tags attached and a proof of purchase is required to process the exchange. Please note that some items are not exchangeable, for instance; cosmetics, lingerie, swimwear and furniture are non-exchangeable items. Visit our store with the item and invoice and our team will process your exchange on the spot.

Can I exchange a gift item?

If you have received an item from Bloomingdale’s as a gift and would like to exchange it, please bring the item in its original condition with the gift receipt to our store. While we do not allow gift returns, you may exchange the item for anything of equal value from store. Only available in UAE and Kuwait.
