We may change these Website Terms from time to time without notice to you by posting the updated Website Terms on the Website, so please be sure to check regularly for updates. When you place an order through our Website or the Website Call Centre (an “Order”), you are deemed to have consented to the latest version of the Website Terms then posted on our Website. If a change in law means that we have to change our Website Terms after you have placed an Order but before it has been fulfilled, we are obliged to apply that change to your Order. In all other cases, the version posted on the Website at the time your Order was placed will apply. Your continued use of the Website constitutes your acceptance of the Website Terms.
We aim to make the Website and its associated services available to as many of you as possible. However, we do require that you are at least 18 years of age, able to lawfully: (i) make payment through one of our accepted payment methods; (ii) agree to these Website Terms; and (iii) enter into binding Orders with us. In addition, only Orders with delivery addresses within the UAE can currently be processed via the UAE Website. Please refer to the Shipping and Delivery section below. In order to take advantage of the features and services of this Website, you can either utilize the Website on a “guest check-out" basis or create an account and register your details with us.

It is your ongoing responsibility to make sure that any personal and payment details you provide to us are valid, accurate and complete. By registering or placing an Order you warrant that you meet the eligibility criteria described above and that the information you provide is yours and is accurate in all respects. Commercial entities are not eligible to register with us.
When you place an Order with us, subject to your rights to cancel or return the items, you commit to buy the items described in that Order, at the price indicated including any additional charges such as delivery fees, taxes and duties where applicable. Orders are subject to our acceptance, which we may withhold in our sole discretion including for reasons such as ineligibility, inability to confirm payment authorization, suspected fraud, shipping restrictions and stock availability. Items in your Website basket are not reserved until your Order is paid for. The Website (or our Website Call Centre) may contain or provide information regarding the availability of merchandise. This information can be used to estimate the likelihood that an item will be available immediately upon Order placement. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that an item stated to be available will actually be available right away, as inventory can change significantly throughout the day. In rare cases, a product may be available when you place an Order but sold out by the time we process the Order. Should this happen, we will notify you. Receipt of your Order will be acknowledged by email. However, the Order is only confirmed when you receive a notification from us confirming dispatch of the relevant item(s). No party other than us has the authority to confirm acceptance of the Order.
Certain purchases made on the Website come with a free gift, which we hope you enjoy where applicable. Please be aware that items purchased on the Website will be non-returnable if the free gift is not returned or where the free gift has been opened or if the packaging has been tampered with.
Prices on the Website are displayed in AED and exclude any services you may elect to pair the purchase with (such as gift wrapping), delivery costs or duties to which the purchase may be subject. Any such additional costs will be displayed before your final check out.
Where you purchase using a payment card denominated in a different currency to AED, the payment will be subject to the currency exchange rate applied by your card issuer at the time your payment is completed.
The destination you ask us to deliver to, the items and services you select and the method of delivery you choose will dictate what delivery charges and duties apply (if any). Please refer to our Shipping and Delivery section for further details on delivery options.
Although we make every effort to ensure prices displayed on our Website and in our communications are correct, errors may occur. If an error occurs and your Order:
- has already been processed, then we may at our discretion:
- cancel the Order (or part thereof), arrange for collection of the mis-priced item(s) from your original Order delivery address in the UAE and issue you a full refund including original Order delivery fees and duties (if applicable);
- where the price you paid is lower than the actual price of the item, honour the price in your Order; or
- where the price you paid is higher than the actual price of the item, refund you the difference;
- has not yet been processed, then we will notify you as soon as possible and only process the Order (or part thereof) once you have confirmed you are happy to buy at the correct price or otherwise cancel the Order (or part thereof) and refund your payment in full.
Promotional codes are valid only in accordance with their terms, until the date stated, can be used only once, are not redeemable for cash, cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, sale, discount or promotion and may not be available for all purchases (such as fine jewellery and concessions) and select brands. If the item is not eligible for the offer or promotion, the discount will not be reflected at checkout. They are personal to you and cannot be transferred to third parties.

This offer is exclusively applicable at Bloomingdale’s online and in-store for Amber Members. Earn 10X Amber points across selected full-priced fine jewelry. The 10X rate applies to the classic rate (1 AED – 1 point) and will automatically be applied to your Amber account when the transaction is complete. Amber points earned will only impact your points, with no impact on your tier or membership status. Amber points are not earned on the VAT amount shown on your receipt. Offer ends 31 December 2024.

We currently accept the following payment methods for Orders placed on our Website: Visa; Mastercard; American Express; PayPal; Apple Pay and, where available. A Bloomingdale’s gift card, store credit and Amber points can also be used to make online purchases. The use of Amber points is subject to the Terms and Conditions of the Amber Programme available here.
We also offer Buy Now, Pay Later (a payment in instalments option) via a third party provider ("Delayed Payment Provider") on Orders that meet any minimum or maximum order values specified by the Delayed Payment Provider and subject to you meeting their eligibility criteria and entering into a contract with the Delayed Payment Provider. By entering payment details onto our Website, you warrant that you are duly authorized to pay using those details. We reserve the right to decline Orders without liability to you where we believe payments are not authorized, the payment method is not valid or where we do not think you are authorized to use or utilize the relevant payment method.
Bloomingdale’s provides all possible payment options for our customer's convenience. For certain payment methods we may request additional personal documents, such as a passport copy or ID card with photo, in order to confirm your Order. For payments made via a Delayed Payment Provider you may be asked to provide additional personal documents and be subject to credit checks. This is required to verify the identity of the buyer and protect the cardholder against any possibility of fraudulent payments. Bloomingdale’s reserves the right to suspend or terminate the payment options available on your account and refuse any and all current or future use of the payment options available on the Website (or any portion thereof) if it suspects there is fraudulent or suspicious activity. We are not liable or bound to inform or send specific communication to the user regarding the changes to your payment options on the Website (or any portion thereof). It is the customer’s responsibility to get in touch with us in order to get the payment options reactivated.
PayPal Payments
As PayPal does not support AED, all transactions completed through PayPal will be charged in USD. Due to this currency conversion, an additional charge will be added when completing your PayPal payment. Orders completed through PayPal will be redirected to a PayPal page.
Gift Boxes and Wrapping
Gift boxes and gift wrapping can be added to your Order (excluding purchases of furniture). You may select to have the items in your Order gift wrapped by us or you may request that we simply supply the gift boxes and gift wrapping along with your Order. The price will be displayed on check out and is non-refundable.
Gift Tagging and Messaging
Gift tags and gift messages can be added to your Order free of charge by selecting this on your Order check out page.
Terms & Conditions
- The E-Gift Card is not a cheque, credit or charge card.
- All E-Gift card are not refundable
- E-Gift Cards can be purchased for a minimum value of 150 AED or maximum of 20,000 AED (or its equivalent in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia)
- Gift Cards cannot be purchased using TABBY / TAMARA.
- E-Gift cards can only be purchased on the Bloomingdale’s website
- Purchasing an e-gift card will not earn bonus Amber points
- Unless specifically stated, no Points will be earned during a sale or promotion, on discretionary discounts, on gift card redemptions, on returned items for which a cash (or a gift card) refund is given or when a special offer is in effect. Points will not be awarded on the portion of a transaction which you fund through Points redemption.
- Al Tayer Group may, at its discretion, from time to time, provide you with the opportunity to accrue Campaign Points on selected purchases (excluding gift cards, as set out in Condition 6(g)), made on specific dates subject to the relevant terms and conditions relating to such Campaign Points which shall be set out on the Website, the Mobile App and any applicable communications with you in respect of such Campaign Points, which may be amended by Al Tayer Group from time to time.
- Gift card purchases shall accrue Points on a standard basis and shall not, under any circumstances, accrue Campaign Points.
- E-Gift Cards are only redeemable for goods on the Bloomingdale’s GCC websites or Retail stores within the country of purchase.
- The amount of your purchase will be deducted from the E-Gift Card. No change will be given but the balance may be applied to future purchases.
- E-Gift Cards cannot be exchanged for cash.
- The E-Gift Card will expire 12 months from the date of last load, e.g. initial card loading, top-up or refund.
- E-Gift Cards cannot be returned or refunded, except in accordance with your legal rights.
- Please protect this E-Gift Card. Al Tayer Insignia is not liable for E-Gift Cards which, once purchased, are subsequently used without your authorisation.
- All refunds of goods or services purchased with the E-Gift Card will be made in accordance with the relevant Bloomingdale’s local Exchange and Refund policy. Your local statutory rights are not affected.
- If any product purchased with an E-Gift Card is exchanged or refunded, any money refunded will be added to the balance on the E-Gift Card.
- Al Tayer Insignia reserves the right to refuse to accept an E-Gift Card which it deems to have been tampered with, duplicated, or which otherwise is suspected to be affected from fraud.
- Al Tayer Insignia reserves the right to change any of these terms and conditions from time to time without notice and to take appropriate action including cancellation of the card if, at its discretion, it deems such action necessary.
- These Terms are applicable to the extent permitted by law.
- By using the E-Gift Card you are deemed to have accepted these Terms, including any changes effected from time to time.

Orders must be placed before 5pm to qualify, with limited delivery slots available until 11pm.
Orders after 5pm or on UAE public holidays will be processed on the next working day. Delivery delays possible during promotions, sales, and holidays. We're not liable for delivery failures beyond our control, including if you're unavailable or request a delay. Expect up to four calls to schedule delivery and three delivery attempts before cancellation.
Scheduled Time Slots
You can now schedule your delivery by picking a time slot most convenient for you at checkout. Scheduled time slots are subject to availability.
Split shipments
We often source your favourite products from different locations, so to ensure that we get your items to you as quickly as possible we sometimes have to split your Order into two or more shipments. In these cases, we notify you that your Order will be arriving in multiple shipments before you make a payment for the Order. You will be able to track these shipments separately through the “My Orders” section in your account, or by looking up your Order number and email address if you’re a guest user.
ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS FOR Delivery Of Furniture / BULKY ITEMS
When your Order is ready for delivery we will contact you to agree a delivery date. Once agreed, you will be responsible for accepting delivery and arranging appropriate means of access and installation on that date. It is your responsibility to ensure that our delivery team has access to the delivery address and that sufficient space for the goods is available, hallways are measured and doors and lifts can grant full access.
Delivery on the first floor and above requires service elevator access arranged by you nd it is your responsibility to notify us of any potential problems with access to the premises, building, service elevators etc and to make any related delivery arrangements. If delivery is not accepted on the agreed delivery date, goods shall be kept in storage free of charge for a period of up to 30 days. If you fail to agree a revised delivery date falling within 30 days of the initial delivery date, we retain the right to cancel your Order.
In the absence of negligence, we will not be liable for loss or damage to the goods or your property, including where caused by: (i) us following your specific instructions; (ii) limited or no access to your nominated premises; and/or (iii) goods not fitting into your property. Any request to hang, erect or build items shall be at our discretion and we will not be responsible for any damage to your home in connection with such hanging, erection or building, nor for the integrity of such hanging, erection or building. Additional charges for such services may apply.
Manufacturing Defects
In addition to our 30 day returns policy, certain product items may benefit from a manufacturer’s warranty. The details of the manufacturer’s warranty will be included in the product packaging, inserts or accompanying documentation. Returns process
Subject to meeting the conditions set out in this Returns section below, we offer a “no questions asked" free returns policy where you initiate the return within 30 days of delivery of the Order. Please note that certain items are not refundable (please see the General Conditions Applicable to Returns section for more information). However, you can return non-returnable items if you receive the wrong item, or if the items arrive damaged. Where this happens, please contact the Website Call Centre on +97144223000 or take the items to your nearest Bloomingdale’s bricks and mortar retail store in the UAE (“Retail Store”).
Items can be returned by arranging collection from your delivery address in the UAE by either:
- Contacting us by calling our number +97144223000; or
- Logging into the My Account/Order History section of the Website.
Please ensure that you complete and attach the returns form you receive with your Order to avoid delays in processing your return. Your returns will be processed within 3-5 days in UAE, and if accepted, the refund will be issued accordingly. If you do not have a Bloomingdale’s account, you will need to register to be able to request a return online.
For an instant refund against your online purchase, you can walk into our Retail Store with the item and the returns form, and our team will be able to complete your return immediately.

Refund Process
Refunds will only be processed after the item/s returned have been approved by us. After approval, we will issue a refund of the full face value of undamaged items duly returned (excluding, where applicable, the original delivery charges, cash handling fees and/or selected services).
Your refund will be processed via the following methods:
- Credit or Debit Card payments are refunded back onto the card used to make the purchase;
- Cash on Delivery payments are refunded as a gift card;
- Amber points are refunded as Amber points;
- Gift card amount is refunded as gift card;
- Store credit is refunded as store credit;
- PayPal payments will be refunded to your PayPal account;
- If you chose to pay with multiple payment methods, at our discretion we will prioritize certain payment methods over others. For example, if you pay using store credit and a credit card, the store credit amount used will be prioritized and refunded in full, before the remainder of the payment gets refunded to your credit card.
Please note that we cannot refund items if the return is not initiated within 30 days from delivery of the Order. If you have received damaged items or the wrong items in your Order, please contact us right away and we will resolve the issue within 24 hours.
Please note that for credit card refunds, it may take up to 14 days for the refund process to be completed.
Shoes
Shoe returns will only be accepted if the shoes are in brand-new condition and without any damage to the items or their packaging. To avoid damage, shoes should only be tried on carpeted surfaces. Any items returned with scuffing, scratches, dents, or any type of damage and visible signs of wear will not be accepted and will be returned to the customer with a rejected refund request.
General Conditions Applicable to Returns
In order to qualify for a refund, the return must be initiated within 30 days of receipt of the Order. All items (including promotional or complimentary gift items accompanying the Order) must be returned to us:
- unaltered, unused and in full saleable condition (or the condition in which they were received from us or our agents). Shoes must not have any sole or other damage;
- in their original packaging/box/dust-cover and with all brand and product labels/tags/instructions still attached. Authenticity cards, where provided, should also be returned; and
- accompanied by the original Order confirmation.
We don’t accept returns for beauty products (including skincare, haircare, make-up, perfume), lingerie, underwear, earrings or furniture, unless the product has been damaged during shipping and retains its original packaging.
We regret but we cannot offer returns on the following categories of products: products not purchased via the Website/Website Call Centre, products sold on other Al Tayer Group websites, sales from www.blomingdales.com or sales originated outside of the United Arab Emirates. Gift items can only be returned with a refund given to the purchaser of the gift. The above is without prejudice to any rights you may have to return defective products.
Any Amber points accrued on a returned purchase will be debited from your Amber account. Points will accrue on replacement items where applicable. Please note that for system reasons, in order to receive online store credit, guest check out customers will need to create a Website Account and register their details with us. We reserve the right to monitor returns and to refuse Orders from customers with excessive returns levels. However, nothing in this Returns section is intended to affect any consumer rights that you may have under UAE law.
You may contact us at any time prior to your Order being marked as “Processed" on our online Order tracking system to cancel or change the Order. If you do so, we will at your request either: (i) cancel it free of charge and issue you with a full refund or (ii) do our best to change it, subject to stock availability and any applicable price adjustment. If the Order has been processed, please await delivery and use the Returns process.
Liability
Save for death or personal injury arising out of our negligence or as required by law, under no circumstances shall we, our affiliates, employees, directors, officers, agents or suppliers be liable to you or to any other person for any indirect, special, incidental or consequential losses or damages of any nature arising out of or in connection with the use of or inability to use the Website, including, without limitation, damages for loss of profits, loss of goodwill or loss of data. Without prejudice to the foregoing, in no event will we be liable for any amounts in excess of the amount paid by you for the product(s) in respect of which the claim arose. These Website Terms are published in English and Arabic. If there is any inconsistency between the English text and the Arabic text, the English text will apply.
