Arriving as part of Eichholtz’s collaboration with The Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Fayum Series is a tribute to the mystique and artistry of ancient Egypt. This softly colored trinket bowl is crafted by hand from natural onyx. It’s inspired by a series of stone vessels found in the Middle Kingdom tomb in Haraga, Egypt, now housed in The Met’s extensive collection. Due to the chosen material and handmade production, each Fayum Vase features unique variations in color and veining.
