It was launched in 2010 by the namesake designer who went on to receive the 2017 DDFC/ Vogue Fashion Prize in the accessory’s category. Her collections are inspired by women, their boundless femininity and strength. The designs range from sweet and delicate to sensual and edgy, evolving with the times just like the modern woman. Earrings, necklaces, rings, hair accessories, bracelets, anklets and brooches are handmade by local skilled artisans using age-old techniques that have low energy requirements. Joanna Laura Constantine also incorporates sustainability in the process by using 18k gold or rhodium plating that are nickel and lead free.
