After lighting your candle, attach the lantern to its top. The lantern will spin on its own, its spend dependent on both the candle scent and the circulation of air in the room. 

Do not touch the lantern while the candle is lit, as the metal will be very hot. Once the candle is extinguished, wait 30 minutes before removing the lantern.
